Remember when... Stu and Janine got hitched?

Welcome to the first post in my "Remember when..." series, a look back over some shoots from the past year that so far haven't made it onto the blog or Facebook.


I've started with a particularly fun wedding - there were so many elements to the day that I loved, and Stuart and Janine really expressed their playful characters through details like serving up ice cream after the ceremony, having a Lego-decorated cake, providing each table with a huge bowl of sweets, and asking to get photos taken on the bumper cars in an arcade near the hotel... You can imagine my delight when that was brought up at one of our meetings!

The whole family was on hand to help Janine get ready, which made for some sweet moments.

You would have thought that, being dressed up and all, the bridal party would have gone easy on the bumper cars... Not so much! And I'm hugely glad they didn't...

The Mournes make such a beautiful backdrop...
